Step 1: Wash & cleanse

Firstly, it’s important to get into a good cleansing routine every day to help unclog pores and give your skin a good canvas to apply your chosen facial tan.

Step 2: Exfoliate regularly

Gently exfoliate your skin using a facial exfoliator, such as Sanctuary’s Radiance Exfoliator to create a smooth and even surface. You should aim to do this once a week to avoid tan build up to help your skin to absorb your chosen tan.

Step 3: Apply your chosen tanner

Gently pat your skin dry and apply your chosen tanner in upward circular motions across the face, neck and décolletage, blending into the hairline and over the ears. For a gradual tan, we recommend using our Gradual Tan Classic Face Cream which acts as a daily moisturiser and gradually builds to create a sunkissed, healthy looking tan.

On the other hand, if your’re looking for a tan which builds in just one application, our non-pore blocking Luxe Facial Oil provides a natural golden glow that lasts for days. With added hydration, this facial oil is perfect for creating healthy looking skin.

Step 4: Enhance

Perfect your tan with the art of contouring by using our Powder Matte Bronzer to add depth and definition to your tan. When applying make up, always wait until your tan is touch dry.
